Marion's Handcrafted Bakery
Custom tiered cakes, artisan chocolates, and small-batch confections — made fresh daily on Bellefontaine Avenue.
Our Story
L and P Cake and Candy Shoppe has been a quiet cornerstone of Marion's dessert scene for years — a place where birthday cakes, wedding tiers, and holiday candy boxes are still made by hand, with real butter, real chocolate, and real care.
We started with a simple belief: that the best treats come from small batches, quality ingredients, and the kind of attention that only a neighborhood shop can give. Every cake is designed with you, every candy is tempered by hand, and every order carries the same standard we'd expect for our own table.

Butter over margarine, real vanilla, couverture chocolate. We source what matters and skip the rest.
Every custom cake begins with a conversation. We listen, sketch, and refine until it feels exactly right.
We don't freeze our best work. Cakes and candies are prepared fresh so they taste like they just came out of the kitchen.
